I love making these. There are so many options and creativity that you can use to decorate your wreath. You have all seen them, the plastic ring that is left behind when you take the cap off the your plastic bottles.
From my understanding this is a part of the bottle that can not be recycled, just like the cap. So with a simple double crochet stitch, you can create a wreath, pin, ornament. These are great as a gift. You can attach them to present, prefect for stocking stuffers, or give a whole set of these as a gift.
When I first started learning how to crochet, this is one of the items I first started with. You can buy the plastic rings at the craft store, but why should I do that when I can get them for free and help the environment at the same time.
I have other items I am designing today, but today will be an easy day and I will be relaxing and working on the wreaths for the craft fair.
