Infused Vodka

Monday's are always very busy.  I try to do as much as I can on this day, because I have had a day of rest, and I have high energy.

I have thirteen things on my list and they are usually things I don't like to do.

Saturday, I bought strawberries so tonight, is about make strawberry shortcake and infused strawberry vodka.  These are so fun to make and they are such great gifts.

Now to find some recipes and crochet a colorful band around the jar.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter......This is my last year to pull out the Easter Basket for my Daughter, she is heading on to an out of state University to continue on with her Masters.  I am so proud.....

She will have to receive the gift packages and put together the basket her way.

I made this basket over 20 years ago, and I think before I hand it over to her, I will add a new trim of crochet lace around the cross stitch border.

I am going to try my hand at making some bakers twine and sew a blanket stitch and then a crochet shell stitch.

Today will be a quiet and reflective day.

Even though we have such separate lives, I am going to miss this kid.....
