Bottle Ring Bunny

No, I am not mad.....Mad Mondays are the day I try and challenge myself to do more than what I think I can possibly handle.  I make a to do list which consist of about 28 items.  Do I ever get them all done, no.  Maybe I should make them easy so I can, but then where is the challenge?

It does help me organize and work effectively and even consider out sourcing.

To give one day per week to do all those things you don't like or want to do and, to have 6 days to not think or deal with them, seems like a pretty good trade off for me.

Paying bills, organizing or cleaning things that you have put off that now have become a major event, taxes, scrubbing grout, making phone calls, oil changes.....You know what I am talking about.

One day per week is all you have, until the next week, so planning accordingly is the key for me.

One of the items on my list today is to make 5 bottle ring bunnies for an Easter surprise for workers.  I only have 30 to make. (ha).  Break it down to smaller amounts each each week and it doesn't seem to be as many.

I like these because they can be used as magnets, pins, napkin rings, gift tags.

Doesn't the face look like a moose?  I need to work on this.....

Crochet Wash Cloth

Soulful Sundays for me are about enjoying what makes you who you are.

I am currently working on our Easter basket.

We are not much into candy.

I picked up a crochet book several weeks back.  It has many different stitches and I vowed to try all.

I have made my first ribbed wash cloth.  So easy, but I love the texture that it has.

Crochet Wash Cloth

Chain until you have the length that you desire.

Half double crochet into each chain.

*Chain one, turn.

Half double crochet into the back loop of each half double crochet.*

Continue process from * until you have the length you desire.

Single crochet around the edges to give it a nice finish....

I save everything, so when we travel of course, I don't leave those soaps behind that I paid for.  I bring them home, put them in my slow cooker and mull them.  Add spices and/or essential oils.  Wrap them in cellophane and you have a gift.
