Crochet Beaded Snowflake
I am preparing a new recipe. I am hesitant about it, because it involves pumpkin puree and seems a little odd but it is tempting me so much to find out what it taste like. I won't finish up until very late tonight, so I will wait until tomorrow to share it with you.
In the meantime, I am working on some more crochet snowflake patterns. I'm trying my hand at incorporating beads with my crochet. The placement of the beads become a little tricky. I no sooner get one done and think to myself, "I should place one here or there." I haven't quite got the bead technique down, so that the bead is stabilized and doesn't dangle, but I am sure that will come in time.
They are quick and easy, so this will be a simple project to fiddle with while I re-image a new vintage pattern. I started a new vintage pattern for ballet slippers and it is actually requiring cardboard for the soles. I decided that I will find a soft leather to do mine with.
If I use cardboard, oh mercy, within the first hour they will be ruined. I really like the style, they are kinda half mule and half ballet shoe, but they are different and original.
Other than that, I am listing retro blazers on eBay.
I think that is plenty of projects for one day, yes?
Take care and have a great day,
Debra
