Crochet Owl Tin Can Cozy

I am excited to present to you the Crochet Cozy Can Owl.  This pattern is available here:

This pattern was so fun to create.

This pattern is great for using up scrap yarns and can be completed in a multitude of colors.  Each round can be started on any stitch from the previous round, which makes it perfect for a quick pick up while on the go.

Uses:

A cozy on a regular tin can or canning Mason jar.

Fill your can/jar with flowers and use as a vase for an owl theme.

Fill your jar with your favorite drink and your owl becomes a coaster/cozy combination.

Fill your can/jar with candy and cookie bouquets accompanied with your cozy.

A cozy for your tin can or mason jars for decoration to hold desk or kitchen utensils.

Enjoy and see you tomorrow with a new recipe,

Debra

Crochet Owl In Progress

I've tinkered with this all week, and still have a few modifications to do.  I just wanted to touch base.  I haven't updated as frequently as I do during the week.

With everything that is going on right now, I am refraining from writing to much.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just want to keep mine to myself and stay focused on what this blog is about.  I'm sure you don't come here to read about my political views, but I am very much focused and concerned with our Country right now.

I will tell you this, I had to actually turn the TV off yesterday.  I am watching the news and one of the new casters is talking about how we are going to be invaded by Aliens because Area 51 is not guarded due to the shutdown.

Seriously?

I still get disgusted in a hysterically laughing kinda way.  So since Halloween is coming up, I should consider designing some crochet Aliens, right?

Maybe mail them to the newscaster?

I should have this pattern finished tomorrow and posted by Monday and wait till you see how it is going to be used, so excited.

With Grace,

Debra
